Warranty
30 day labour warranty as standard on all work carried out, warranty only covers works carried out.
If a customer supplies a part then labour only will be covered by the warranty.
Services / Repairs
Fixed priced labour charges are for labour only and do not include the cost of any parts, these charges are based on an average repair time, however some units may be charged at a higher rate due to complexity of how they are constructed. If there is any additional costs this will be discussed prior to the repair.
All repairs are subject to a minimum labour charge of £25.
Diagnostic and standard labour is charged at £30 per hour and is subject to a minimum fee of £25. Charges will be rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.
In the event the Operating System (i.e. Windows, etc.) has to be reinstalled through hardware failure or software issues, the customer will need to supply the original installation / restore disk and the appropriate license keys or activation codes. Failure to do so may result in the repair not being completed. In this event the customer will still be liable for the cost of repair. Updates are not installed as standard and will have to be requested prior to the start of the repair.
Liability
It is your responsibility to back-up software, data, information and/or other files stored on your computer’s disks or drives. You acknowledge and agree that Tim Service IT Coventry are not responsible at any time for any loss, altera-tion or corruption of any software, data, or files.
Tim Service IT Coventry will not be held responsible for any lost data, loss of amenity or earnings as result of the services offered.
Tim Service IT Coventry is not responsible for any of your legal obligations or requirments relating to the content or information held on websites constructed or designed by us.
Data
Tim Service IT Coventry cannot be held responsible for your data and it is strongly recommended that your data is backed up prior to repair.
In the event of Hard Disk Drive failure data recovery can be attempted at a additional charge, however there are no guarantees to what data can be recovered and there is always the risk the data maybe corrupt.
Your data will be treated with the upmost respect and we will not copy or open any of your files unless we have strict instructions to do so by the customer.
